Women's Golf Continues to Lead at Unlimited Potential / Bay Tree Classic

North Myrtle Beach, S.C. - Middle Tennessee women's golf shot a 304 in Saturday's round to keep its lead after two rounds of the Unlimited Potential/Bay Tree Classic being held this weekend at Bay Tree Golf Club in North Myrtle Beach, S.C.

"We had another day of steady play," said Head Coach Rahael Short. "Overall, I am pleased with the team's play, because even when they found themselves in difficult situations, they hung in there and fought back.

Cincinnati currently sits at second with its 607 on the day, just five strokes behind leader Middle Tennessee with its 602. The Chanticleers totaled 610 after 36 holes for third while the Cougars earned the fourth-place nod with a 611. Rounding out the top five is Florida International with a 619.

Taryn Durham and Jamey Dillard are tied for fourth place with a 149. Grace Holmes (151) and Maggie McGill (155) both remain in the top 25 at tied at 11th and 25th respectively. Leigh Wilkins sits tied for 30th place with a 157.

The third and final round begins at 8:22 Sunday with a shotgun format.
