Women's Tennis Hosts Fall Invitational

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Five Blue Raiders players will take part in a nine-team, three-day event, hosting the 19th Annual Middle Tennessee Women's Fall Invitational at the Buck Bouldin Tennis Center this weekend.

Head coach Alison Ojeda and her squad plays its final fall event of the year beginning at 10 a.m. Friday and running through Sunday. Sophomore Ann-Kristin Siljestrom, as well as freshman Kelly Adams, Pooja Kommireddi and Marlene Chemin, will all take part in singles action, while Claudia Szabo and Siljestrom will team in doubles, as will Adams and Chemin.

Friday will see two doubles matches followed by one singles match starting at 10 a.m. CT, with the reverse on Saturday beginning at 8:30 a.m. All finals action will take place Sunday.

Adams will play in Flight A singles, taking on Jacksonville State's Erin Higgs Friday. Siljestrom will play Ball State's Stephanie Farrar in Flight B, with Chemin facing BSU's Katie Owens. Kommireddi will take on Belmont's Elizabeth Conyer in Flight C.

In doubles action, Siljestrom-Szabo faces Belmont's Conyer and Kristina Griffith, while Adams-Chemin will play JSU's Eloah Lopes and Layla Abby in Flight A.
