Kuruppu, Boiron Drop Decisions

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Senior Rishan Kuruppu and sophomore Marc Boiron both dropped decisions Sunday in the consolation bracket, ending Middle Tennessee's stay at the Georgia Tech Fall Invitational in Atlanta, Ga.
Kuruppu dropped another tough three-setter, this one to Kentucky's Marcus Sundh, 1-6, 7-5, 3-6. Kuruppu lost earlier in the tournament, 6-4, 4-6, 9-11, to Tennessee's Kiril Tcherveniachki.
Boiron dropped a 3-6, 2-6, decision to Georgia Southern's Charles-Henri Trottet.
The entire Blue Raider squad will now prepare for the ITA Southeast Championships, October 13-16, in Memphis, Tenn. Full results from the tournament may be found at www.ramblinwreck.com.
