LAS CRUCES, NM - Middle Tennessee women's golfer Tamara Munsch fired a second round score of 76 in day two of the Price's "Give 'Em Five" Intercollegiate to stand tied for 21st overall. Munsch and the Lady Raiders (322-316=638) moved up two spots to stand in 12th place overall after two rounds.
"We played a little better today, but we got ourselves in a hole with Monday's round," head coach Kim St. John said. "Tamara and Amanda played well today, but we still could have been a whole lot better. Hopefully, we will put it all together Wednesday."
Kandace Burnett recorded an 80 on Tuesday to be in a tie for 58th, while Kristin Lynch is in a tie for 61st after shooting an 81.
Amanda Harter enjoyed one of her better rounds with a 79 and stands in a tie for 64th. Nicole Biles rounded out the scoring on Tuesday with a 92.
The final round will begin Wednesday with an 8:00 a.m. shotgun start.
