Gross, who becomes the first running back at Middle Tennessee to win the Offensive Player of the Week award since ReShard Lee on Oct. 1, 2001, topped the 100-yard rushing mark for the second time this season and the fifth time during his career.
Gross enters this week's Homecoming game against Louisiana-Lafayette with a team-best 398 rushing yards with a 4.0 per carry average and six touchdowns.
