Lady Raiders in 10th after 36 holes

SOUTHERN PINES, NC -Middle Tennessee's women's golf team opened with two disappointing rounds at the Ross Resorts Invitational to drop to 10th place in the 12-team tournament. The Lady Raiders shot a combined 649 at the Pine Needles Golf Course in their first event in four weeks.

Georgia State owns the 36-hole lead with a 598 while Augusta State is second with a 606. Richmond is in third with a 616 and Yale and host Rollins are tied for fifth (619).

Sophomore Taryn Durham paced the Lady Raiders with a 152 to tie for ninth overall and junior Maggie McGill is tied for 40th with a 163.

Sophomore Jamey Dillard had a 167 to rank 52nd while senior Grace Holmes and freshman Mallory Bishop are tied for 53rd after carding a 169.

The Lady Raiders will play the final round on Tuesday to conclude their fall season.
