"I have decided to end my coaching career and pursue other professional interests. My family and I love MTSU and will continue to be big Blue Raider fans in the Murfreesboro area. Thanks to Coach Davis and the players for making the last four years very memorable," Pepelea said.
While at Middle Tennessee, Pepelea worked with the guards which included all-time assists leader Kevin Kanaskie.
"Artie has represented Middle Tennessee basketball in great fashion over the last four years. I enjoyed working with Artie and appreciate his contributions in helping us win the 2010 Sun Belt Championship. We wish Artie and his family all the best in his future endeavors," Davis said.
