Hyde signs contract with Kings
Former Blue Raider is ninth to sign pro contract this year

The Saint Louis, Mo., native, appeared in 15 games as a senior for the Blue Raiders striking out 11 batters in 23.2 innings of work.
Hyde worked two innings against South Alabama allowing no runs or hits and struck out one. In one inning against Southern Illinois, he did not allow any runs or hits with one strikeout.
Against Tennessee Tech, Hyde gave up just one hit and struck out two in 1.2 innings.
Hyde joins former Blue Raiders Chad Edwards and Todd Martin in the Frontier League. Edwards plays for the Evansville Otters while Martin is with the Southern Illinois Miners.
Middle Tennessee has had nine student-athletes sign professional contracts following the 2010 season which is the most in school history.
