MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - With high expectations of a very good 2010 football season for the Middle Tennessee football team, the Blue Raider Athletic Association is sponsoring executive coach trips to three road games to help Blue Raider fans support their team with a minimum of effort and at a bargain price.

Signature Transportation Services will provide private executive coaches, featuring 33 reclining leather seats and a flat screen TV, to the games at Memphis (Sept. 18/6 pm), Georgia Tech (Oct. 16) and Western Kentucky (Nov. 20/3:30 pm). Kickoff time of the game at Georgia Tech has not yet been announced. In each case the bus will leave the Greenland Drive parking lot in time to arrive at the stadium approximately 1-1 ½ hours before kickoff. They will leave to return to Murfreesboro 45 minutes after the end of the game.

Alan Farley, Associate AD/Fundraising, notes the advantages of taking a bus to the Blue Raider road games.

"First of all, there is the convenience of not having to drive, traveling with a large group, not having to stay in a hotel, and not having to pay to park and walk a long way to the game, but instead being dropped off and picked up right at the stadium, You can also bring your own food and beverages for the trip." pointed out Farley. "You can't find a better deal anywhere."

Farley also pointed out that Georgia Tech, in particular, was short on parking for football games. "You have to park several miles away and ride MARTA to the game. The BRAA buses are definitely the best way to go to Tech."

Prices for the three trips vary. The cost of the Memphis trip is $50.00 per person, Georgia Tech is $60/person and Western is $35/person. Tickets to the game are not included, but a block of seats in the MT section will be available to those fans riding the buses. BRAA will coordinate this.

"We are doing these bus trips at our cost to help support our football team, and to make it more affordable and convenient for our fans," said Farley.

Interested fans should call the BRAA office to sign up for these trips on these private buses. The phone number is (615) 898-2210.
