This is part three of a series on the freshmen members of the Middle Tennessee soccer team. GoBlueRaiders.com recently asked a series of questions to each of the seven players and the responses of Birgitte Hauge of Aure, Norway are featured.

What factors led to your decision of attending Middle Tennessee?
The soccer program.

What advice have you received from an upperclassmen thus far that you will use the most during the season?
Take the chance when you get it!

What parts of your game have you been working on improving the most?
To adjust my positioning on the field as a right back.

Now that you have lived in Murfreesboro for a month, what about this city do you enjoy the most?
It's a lot of fun here. I just enjoy being in another country and experience another culture.

What contributions do you think you can make to help this team take the next step?
That I'm a offensive right back and hopefully I can contribute forwards on the field.

What has been your favorite memory of your time at MT so far?
I really don't know, there has been a lot of impressions so far.

How have you seen yourself grow as a person since you have been here?
Yes! This is not my first time living away from home, but this is the first time that I have lived in a new country and that is a big change in my life. This is an experience that I will have a lot of use for, for the rest of my life.

What are your career goals after graduation?
My goal after graduation is to get a good job that I really like and enjoy.

What are some of the things you enjoy doing outside of soccer?
Being with my friends and watching movies.

Is there a story behind you wearing your jersey number?
There is no story behind my jersey number, it was randomly given to me.

Do you have any pregame rituals or superstitions?
Not really.

What do you miss most about being away from home?
I miss my family and my friends at home.
