This is part four of a series on the freshmen members of the Middle Tennessee soccer team. GoBlueRaiders.com recently asked a series of questions to each of the seven players and the responses of Lindsey Sisco of Midlothian, Texas, are featured.
What factors led to your decision of attending Middle Tennessee?
The soccer program was the biggest part, but also the fact that MTSU is a great school didn't hurt.
What advice have you received from an upperclassmen thus far that you will use the most during the season?
Never hesitate to ask for help, and work as hard as you can at all times.
What parts of your game have you been working on improving the most?
Directing my defense and my distribution.
Now that you have lived in Murfreesboro for over a month, what about this city do you enjoy the most?
There is way more things to do here than at my home in Midlothian. Also, everyone around town and on campus is always so nice and welcoming.
What contributions do you think you can make to help this team take the next step?
By providing depth and solidity to the goalkeeping position.
What has been your favorite memory of your time at MT so far?
Watching (assistant coach) Mike (Baker) and (manager) Nate (Snell) play in the Blue vs. White game.
How have you seen yourself grow as a person since you have been here?
I have become more independent.
What are your career goals after graduation?
I plan to become a high school coach or a physical therapist.
What are some of the things you enjoy doing outside of soccer?
Hanging out with my new friends and teammates.
Is there a story behind you wearing your jersey number?
Not really, I have worn #0 since my freshman year in high school, but it was totally random that I received it here again.
Do you have any pregame rituals or superstitions?
I put my gear on in a certain order, listen to a specific list of songs, and say the same prayer I have been saying for years.
What do you miss most about being away from home?
My family, my dogs, and the friends I have grown up with.
