DURHAM, N.C. - Middle Tennessee was well represented when three of its players were named to the all-tournament team following the Duke Nike Classic over the weekend in Durham, N.C. Blue Raiders earning spots on the squad included seniors Vanessa Mueggler and Emily Snowdon, along with junior Rebecca Cushing.

Mueggler netted the team's only goal of the two-game set versus No. 1 North Carolina and against No. 15 Duke. She scored her team-leading fifth tally of the campaign just under five minutes into the second half against the defending national champion Tar Heels Friday. Mueggler finished the weekend with a team-high three shots, two of which were on goal.

Snowdon was part of a defensive backline for Middle Tennessee, which helped limit the host Blue Devils to just one score in the tournament's final match Sunday. She started both games over the weekend and her presence in the middle helped limit opposing opportunities.

Cushing played just over 162 of the team's 180 minutes in the cage, surrendering just the one goal to Duke. She made numerous key saves against both North Carolina and Duke, keeping the Blue Raiders within striking distance. She earned seven saves against the Tar Heels before collecting eight against the Blue Devils.

Middle Tennessee will be looking to rebound when it opens Sun Belt action at 7 p.m. Friday by playing host to Denver at Dean A. Hayes Track and Soccer Stadium.
