ATHENS, Ga. - Kyle Wishing guided the Blue Raiders on Saturday at the Southern Intercollegiate Championships hosted by the University of Georgia.
Wishing won his first round consolation match in Division III singles 6-2, 7-5 over Erik Halaj of Stetson. Wishing will face Georgia State's Lucas Santana on Sunday barring no rain and the matches can be played outdoors.
Elliot Barwell fell 6-4, 7-6 (5) to UCF's Mario Samson in the first round of Division II Consolation.
Inclement weather is projected for Sunday in the Athens area and may change the schedule of play. Results will be posted on goblueraiders.com when they become available.
