This is part six of a series on the freshmen members of the Middle Tennessee soccer team. GoBlueRaiders.com recently asked a series of questions to each of the seven players and the responses of Greta Jochmann of Knoxville, Tenn., are featured.
What factors led to your decision of attending Middle Tennessee?
It was a good distance from home and the soccer program.
What advice have you received from an upperclassmen thus far that you will use the most during the season?
They all have given me really great direction on the field; it has helped me improve a lot.
What parts of your game have you been working on improving the most?
I'm always looking to improve in every area.
Now that you have lived in Murfreesboro for almost two months, what about this city do you enjoy the most?
The campus and all the restaurants.
What contributions do you think you can make to help this team take the next step?
I'm willing to do whatever I have to do.
What has been your favorite memory of your time at MT so far?
All the advice and help I've gotten from the upperclassmen.
How have you seen yourself grow as a person since you have been here?
I'm becoming more independent and I've really improved my soccer knowledge.
What are your career goals after graduation?
Go to medical school.
What are some of the things you enjoy doing outside of soccer?
Cooking
Is there a story behind you wearing your jersey number?
Nope
Do you have any pregame rituals or superstitions?
I always turn my phone off before games and listen to music.
What do you miss most about being away from home?
My family
