Blue Raiders close fall tournament season Friday
Three MT players compete at ITA Regionals

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - The Middle Tennessee women's tennis fall tournament campaign came to a close Friday when three Blue Raiders dropped their respective singles matches at the ITA Ohio Valley Regionals in Knoxville, Tenn.
Sophomore Yuiri Nomoto, the lone MT participant in the main singles draw, fell in her Round of 32 match to Evansville's Kate Chybowski 6-3, 6-1.
Junior Marietta Bigus competed in the consolation Round of 32 and suffered a hard-fought 4-6, 6-1, 10-6 setback to Murray State's Alexis Webb.
Also playing in the consolation draw was junior Taylor Coffey. After receiving a bye, she was defeated 6-4, 6-0 by Kentucky's Caitlin McGraw.
The Blue Raiders will next play when they open the spring season. The schedule will be announced at a later date.
