MT Soccer Hosts Belmont on Senior Day

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - The Middle Tennessee soccer team will host Belmont Sunday at 2 p.m. and four seniors will be honored during Senior Day activities at the Blue Raider Soccer Field.

The Blue Raiders and Belmont have met four times, with each club winning twice over the last four seasons. Belmont defeated MT, 3-2, last season in Nashville, and also picked up a victory in 1998 (3-0). The Blue Raiders won by identical 2-0 scores in both 1997 and 1999.

Four seniors will be honored prior to Sunday's contest: goalie Jessica Busey, defender Megan Holsten, and midfielders Tiffany Moore and Rachael Sulkers. The four will have led Middle Tennessee to the most wins of any previous graduating class, posting 35 victories during their four seasons and leading the Blue Raiders into the start of conference play.

MT also hosts Georgia State at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the final home match of the season for the Blue Raiders.
