Women's golf finishes 11th at Lady Paladin

GREENVILLE, S.C. - Playing in their final tournament of the fall, the Middle Tennessee women's golf team finished in 11th place (out of 17) after shooting a 25-over 313 in the third round at the Lady Paladin Invitational at Furman Golf Course in Greenville, S.C.

Morgan Hale was the highest Blue Raider finisher in the event, posting a third round eight-over 80 to finish tied for 26th in the 90 player field at 21-over.

Ashley Haggard and Karisa Akin each shot a seven-over 79 on Sunday, and finished tied for 38th and 41st, respectively, at 24-over and 25-over.

Olivia Love improved to end the event tied for 48th at 28-over after carding a three-over 75 in the third round, the best single round score by a Blue Raider over the weekend.

Stephanie Smith was tied for 52nd at 29-over after shooting a 10-over 82.

Steph Gough competed in the event as an individual, tying for 34th. The junior carded an eight-over 80, and finished at 23-over.

Middle Tennessee has now completed their fall season, and will pick up play again in the spring, beginning at the Kiawah Island Women's Intercollegiate in February.
