Who wakes up at 4 in the morning to get on a plane? The Blue Raider soccer team does! This morning (Wednesday) my teammates and I left Murfreesboro to visit Florida for our very first trip to the NCAA Tournament. We are not strangers to bus rides, plane trips, and airports but the destination for this trip means something different. This destination represents history being made and hard work paying off.
Today was an ordinary traveling day with one exception. Our assistant coach had to shave his leg because we won the Sun Belt Conference Tournament. We love fulfilling promises!
Starting tomorrow we mean business. We are all very excited to see what Florida State has to offer to the game but we are even more excited to show another team and another school what Middle Tennessee soccer is all about. Look out NCAA and Florida State... here comes MT!
