HOOVER, Ala. - Middle Tennessee's Festus Chemaoi and the Middle Tennessee cross country team concluded the 2010 campaign, Saturday at the Veteran Park race course in Hoover, Ala. Chemaoi placed 32nd overall at the meet.
The Ainobkoi, Kenya native completed the 10,000 meter layout in a time of 31:29.90. His 32nd place finish does not make him eligible for November 22nd's NCAA Championships in Terre Haute, Ind. Chemaoi placed 13th at the 2009 south regional en route to a 146th finish at last year's national competition.
"Festus ran well the first three-fourths of the race, but fell back towards the end," said head coach Dean Hayes. "There was very strong competition at this race."
