BRAA offering bus/hotel packages for GoDaddy.com Bowl

If you are looking for the perfect Christmas gift for that Middle Tennessee football fan, Associate Director of Athletics Alan Farley has a great suggestion. 

“Buy them bowl game tickets and one of our packages to watch the Blue Raiders play Miami of Ohio in the GoDaddy.com Bowl,” suggested Farley.

The BRAA is sponsoring two bus trips to the GoDaddy.com Bowl in Mobile to watch the Blue Raiders play on Thursday night, January 6, 2011.

The first trip will be for two nights, and will leave at 6:30 am on Wednesday, Jan. 5^th, and will return to Murfreesboro the morning after the game.  This will allow you to take part in the Bowl activities such as the Greer’s Food Tiger Mardi Gras Parade and the Spectronics Fireworks display, street party, and pep rallies.

The second bus trip will leave the morning of the game, Jan. 6^th, at 6:30 am, and will return to Murfreesboro the following morning. This will allow you to attend the bowl game, then return home by midday on Friday

This includes transportation and hotel only and the cost for the 2 night trip is $390.00 for a single or $480.00 for a couple. The 1 night stay will be $250.00 for a single and $340.00 for a couple. You will make your hotel reservations with the BRAA. The deadline to make room reservations is 3:00 pm DECEMBER 22^nd . Hotel accommodations are available at the team hotel, the Renaissance Riverview Plaza, a 4-star hotel.  The bus trip is non-refundable.

Tickets must be purchased through the Blue Raider ticket office (615/898-5261).  The price is $45 per ticket, plus ticket purchasers will receive a “Blueout” T-Shirt and a ticket to either the Memphis or Western Kentucky football games next fall.

“Bus seating and rooms at the team hotel are limited, so don’t delay in making your reservations and remember there is a hotel deadline of 3:00 pm on December 22^nd,” stated Farley.
