MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee Head Football Coach Rick Stockstill announced today the signing of Micah James to a scholarship agreement. James is an offensive lineman from Georgia Military and has three years to play two for the Blue Raiders.

James, 6-4, 310, played two seasons at Georgia Military for coach Burt Williams.

A native of Landover, Maryland, James played his high school football at Mill Creek in Hoschton, Ga. He was first team all-region, first team all-county, and played in the 2009 Gwinnett County All-Star Game.

James will enroll in school this January.

“We are excited about Micah joining our program,” said Stockstill. “He will be able to go through spring practice and our offseason workout program. I am anxious to begin working with him.”
