Track to compete at Ed Temple Classic
Teams return to action after winter break

MUFREESBORO, Tenn - The Middle Tennessee track and field teams will return to action this Saturday at the Ed Temple Classic hosted by Tennessee State on the Wilma Rudolph Indoor Track inside the TSU Gentry Center.
Saturday's meet is scheduled at begin at 8:00 a.m. with the mile run and all field events. The meet will conclude with a full slate of running events, beginning at 10:30 a.m.
The Ed Temple Classic has become a mainstay on Dean Hayes' early indoor schedule as his teams have competed in the meet the past three seasons. The competition's timing and proximity to Murfreesboro give the athletes an opportunity to gauge their level of competition, before the highly competitive Kentucky Invitational on January 14-15 in Lexington, Ky.
This will be the second meet of the season as the team hosted the 2010 MT Christmas Invitational. The Blue Raiders enjoyed a strong showing, taking 15 individual victories.
