The Blue Raiders (7-12) ended a six-game losing streak with the victory, playing with a full lineup for the first time in two weeks because of injury and illness.

Middle Tennessee won all three doubles matches, two with ease.

Ann-Kristin Siljestrom and Kelly Adams defeated Andrea Feichtinger and Christina Wieser, 8-1, at No. 2, and Pooja Kommireddi and Elvira Yusupova won 8-1, as well, over UM's Kristin Noble and Elin Zafir at No. 3. Claudia Szabo and Marlene Chemin took care of Alex Tjioe and Brooke Cowie, 8-4, at No. 1.

In singles the Tigers won at Nos. 1 and 2, but the Blue Raiders picked up victories at the final four spots in the lineup to post the victory.

Cowie defeated Szabo at No. 1, 6-4, 6-4, and Feichtinger won 6-3, 6-3, over Chemin at No. 2.

Siljestrom took care of Noble, 6-1, 6-4, at No. 3, and Yusupova defeated Zafir, 6-1, 6-1. Adams picked up a 3-6, 6-4, 10-3, victory over Tjioe at No. 5.

Kommireddi moved into the Middle Tennessee record books on Sunday with her 25th singles win of the year, defeating Wieser at No. 6, 6-3, 6-2. Kommireddi ties Elina Durchman (1979) and Tanja Buchheim (2000) for sixth on the single-season list with her 25 wins.

Middle Tennessee plays its final matches of the year before the conference tournament next weekend. The Blue Raiders will host UAB either Friday or Sunday and take on Marshall Saturday at 9 a.m. at the Buck Bouldin Tennis Center.
