"First, I would like to thank my assistants Mike Baker and Debs Brereton as well as our returning players and the administration for all the efforts they placed in securing this strong group of student-athletes," Rhoden said. "This is a very talented and versatile recruiting class. Our goal during this recruiting period was to increase the depth and versatility of our team without compromising its quality. The versatility of this class will help us get through a tough and rigorous non-conference schedule.

"All members of this class are coming from high caliber club and high school teams and a few have experience at the region and youth national team levels. All are solid students and fierce competitors on the field. They will allow us to maintain a high level of play over longer periods and play out of several different systems. The 2011 recruits will be a great addition to our strong group of returning players."
