Middle Tennessee will play East Tennessee State (2-4) at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 19 in Johnson City, Tenn. It is the only match this weekend for the Blue Raiders.
The team is looking to rebound from losses to Brown and Yale a week ago. Middle Tennessee is 4-3 on the season with freshman Ben Davis leading the way as an individual.
Davis remains undefeated in singles action posting a 7-0 record at the No. 2 and No. 3 positions. Davis has also only played one three-set match in his young career. In doubles, Davis has paired with sophomore Shaun Waters posting a 4-3 record at the No. 1 position.
Freshmen Elliot Barnwell and Joseph Cohen have also performed well for the Blue Raiders. Cohen is 4-1 in singles action while Barnwell is 5-2. The two have also paired up for doubles posting a 2-3 record at the No. 2 position.
Junior Matthew Langley has also aided the Blue Raiders in their start to the spring season posting a 4-3 record at No. 2 and No. 3 singles.
There are no live stats for the match. Results will be posted on goblueraiders.com as soon as they become available.
