Relay, Walker Fifth; Fraley Seventh at Sea Ray Relays
April 15, 2006 · MT Media RelationsThe men's 4x100 team of Walker, freshman Samuel Adade, junior Daryl Terrell and Fraley placed fifth with a time of 40.39. Fraley was seventh in the 200-meters with an NCAA regional qualifying mark of 21.05, while freshman Pete Senatus was 12th in the event in 21.35.
Walker was fifth in the long jump with a mark of 24-5.75, while senior Linnie Yarbrough tied for 10th in the event with a mark of 23-4.75.
Senior Jonathan Guillou placed 16th in the 5000-meter invitational in a time of 15:39.57.
For the women, the 4x100-meter relay of senior Candice Robertson, junior Tiffany Owens, sophomore Antranette Stringer and junior Shanna-Kay Campbell finished 12th in a time of 46.49. The women's 4x400-meter relay of freshman TraMayne Gillyard, Robertson, Stringer and junior Veronia Patterson placed 26th in a time of 3:51.04.
Owens was 29th in the 100-meters in 12.00 late Saturday.
