CHARLESTON, S.C. - For the third consecutive day, Middle Tennessee carded a 20-over 308 to finish 14th (of 33) at the Edwin Watts Kiawah Island Classic at Cougar Point Golf Course (6001 yards) on Tuesday. After opening up play on Sunday with an even-par 72, Olivia Love closed a with a strong three-over 75 to end the event in a tie for 13th (of 168), leading all Blue Raiders.

"The winds out there were pretty strong for most of the tournament, and I think the scores for everyone were a little bit higher than they usually are here," head coach Chris Adams said. "It's good to see Olivia getting back into her game, and she did a very good job of dealing with the wind. Her patience really paid off at this event."

In addition to Love, Karisa Akin improved her score for the second straight day. The junior posted one of the best scores of the field on Tuesday, carding a one-over 73 to finish tied for 33rd at 12-over.

Morgan Hale ended the event in a tie for 39th at 14-over after shooting a third round seven-over 79.

Ashley Haggard and Natalie Chrisopulos finished tied for 104th and 141st, respectively, at 26-over and 35-over.

The Blue Raiders will now look to move on to the Administaff Lady Jaguar Intercollegiate at Forest Hills Golf Club in Augusta, Ga.
