Millard named National Player of the Week
Golfweek recognizes seniors strong play
February 28, 2011 · Athletic CommunicationsMURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Senior Jason Millard has been named the Golfweek National Player of the Week after winning the Mobile Bay Intercollegiate last week.
Millard, who led Middle Tennessee to the team championship, posted a final-round 9-under 63 to break a 34-year-old school scoring record. It was the second career victory for Millard, who also broke the course record by three shots at Magnolia Grove Crossings.
Millard is the first Blue Raider to earn National Player of the Week honors since Chas Narramore in 2009.
