Blue Raiders split opening day of Sun Belt Shootout

The Blue Raiders lost their opening match 4-0 to Memphis falling into the consolation bracket. In the second match of the day, consolation semifinals, Middle Tennessee defeated Troy 4-2.

In the match with Troy, junior Matthew Langley pulled out a three set battle after losing the first match 6-2. Langley won sets two and three by scores of 7-6 to hand Middle Tennessee the win.

Middle Tennessee will be back in action on Sunday, April 3 at 9 a.m. when it plays the winner of South Alabama-UL-Lafayette. Live scoring will be available on goblueraiders.com and there is no charge for home tennis matches.
