Siljestrom Falls in First Round

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee's Andreas Siljestrom dropped a 6-2, 6-4, decision to No. 47 Callum Beale of Texas Wednesday in the first round of the NCAA Singles Championships at the Taube Family Tennis Center in Stanford, Calif.
Siljestrom, ranked 48th, was making his first appearance in NCAA singles play. He and doubles partner Marco Born, seeded 5-8 in the 32-team doubles field, takes on Clemson's 21st-ranked Jermaine Jenkins and Clement Reix on Thursday after 4 p.m. CT.
