Each of the 25 players will be included with most weeks profiling two student-athletes and three weeks highlighting three players. Student-athletes were selected by random draw for their respective week.
All players were asked the same questions; however, the choice of which questions and answers appear here were also chosen at random.
For the second week, redshirt junior Regina Thomas and freshman Becky Pedro are highlighted.
Q: What is your favorite pre-game meal?
Regina Thomas: Anywhere the coaches take us before the game.
Becky Pedro: Chocolate covered bacon
Q: What is your favorite book?
RT: The Outsiders
BP: The Chronicles of Narnia
Q: Who was your favorite sports idol as a kid?
RT: Joe Sakic
Q: What is one thing most people might not know about you?
RT: I was born in Germany
BP: I know Japanese
Q: What is your dream job?
RT: Own my own restaurant
Q: What is your pregame ritual?
BP: Listen to my iPod
Q: What is a part of your game that needs improvement?
RT: Being more selfish
BP: Strength on the ball and viewing the field, playing simple
Q: What do you believe it will take to have a successful season?
RT: Pick up where we left off at the end of last season.
Q: What is one of your pet peeves?
BP: People who only care about themselves.
Q: What do you see yourself doing in 10 years?
RT: Working in the restaurant business.
Q: Who has been most influential in your life?
BP: My sister Megan
Q: What is your favorite quote/saying?
RT: “On the field of friendly strife are sown the seeds that on other days and other fields may bear the fruits of victory”
Q: If you could have one superpower, what would it be?
BP: To have X-ray vision, when I want it (not all the time)
Q: What is one food you will not try?
BP: Seafood
Q: What are some of the things you would do if you won the lottery?
RT: Travel the world.
BP: Give my parents and siblings a comfortable lifestyle, take my mom shopping and pay off my siblings’ tuitions.
