Each of the 25 players will be included with most weeks profiling two student-athletes and three weeks highlighting three players. Student-athletes were selected by random draw for their respective week.
All players were asked the same questions; however, the choice of which questions and answers appear here were also chosen at random.
For the sixth week, freshman Melisa Erturk and senior Elisabeth Sikes are highlighted.
Q: What is your favorite book?
Melisa Erturk: Harry Potter
Elisabeth Sikes: The Help and The Book of Awesome
Q: What one thing, off the field, can you do better than most?
ME: Interior design
ES: Being a bargin hunter
Q: What is one thing most people might not know about you?
ME: I have never done laundry
ES: I have played piano for 16 years
Q: What is your dream job?
ME: To be a National Team coach
ES: Being an actress and a voice in an animated movie
Q: What is your hometown famous for?
ME: The prime minister
ES: Marshall Space Flight Center
Q: What do you believe it will take to have a successful season?
ME: Team work, communication, dedication, passion
ES: Good team cohesion, communication and hard work ethic
Q: If you could play another sport at Middle Tennessee, what would it be?
ES: Fencing…but really volleyball
Q: What do you see yourself doing in 10 years?
ME: Playing professional soccer
ES: I’ll still be trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up
Q: Who has been most influential in your life?
ME: My mom, dad and sister
Q: What is your favorite quote/saying?
ME: Pain is weakness leaving the body

ME: Tomatoes
Q: What are some of the things you would do if you won the lottery?
ES: I’d take a vacation to Ireland. For a long time.
