GULF SHORES, Ala. - J.R. Wade continued his hot play by carding a three-under par 141 to stand in sixth place after two rounds of the Fall Beach Classic. The Blue Raiders are eighth after rounds of 293-287=580.

"I thought we played pretty good golf the first two rounds considering the competition in this tournament," head coach Johnny Moore said. "J.R. (Wade) is playing excellent for us and I was proud of the performance by freshman Carter Henderson. We can make a big jump on Tuesday if we continue to play like this."

Charlie Gibson and Carter Henderson are in a tie for 24th after registering a two-round total of 146, which is two-over par. Gibson opened with a 77, then came back with the best round of his career when he fired a 69 in the second round.

Patrick Williams is one shot back of Gibson and Henderson and is in a tie for 29th, while John Beddies is in 49th place with a 152.

The Blue Raiders will play the final round on Tuesday.
