Each Wednesday through the regular season, GoBlueRaiders.com will feature a series of Q&As with members of the Middle Tennessee soccer program. Each of the 25 players will be included with most weeks profiling two student-athletes and three weeks highlighting three players. Student-athletes were selected by random draw for their respective week.
All players were asked the same questions; however, the choice of which questions and answers appear here were also chosen at random.
Q: What is your favorite pre-game meal?
Rebecca Cushing: Chicken sandwich with mashed potatoes
Q: Who is your favorite musical artist?
Greta Jochmann: Kenny Chesney or Josh Thompson but I love any country!
Q: What is your favorite book?
RC: A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini
Q: What one thing, off the field, can you do better than most?
GJ: I would like to think I can bake pretty well
RC: Braid hair
Q: What is one thing most people might not know about you?
GJ: I have really small hands
Q: What is your dream job?
GJ: Being a homicide detective. I really like crime shows.
Q: What is a part of your game that needs improvement?
GJ: I could definitely shoot more and be more vocal on the field.
RC: My drop kicks
Q: What do you believe it will take to have a successful season?
GJ: Hard work and never losing focus. We have a great team!
Q: What is one of your pet peeves?
RC: When people don’t say thank you
Q: What do you see yourself doing in 10 years?
GJ: Hopefully graduated from med school with a job as an orthopedic surgeon.
Q: What is your favorite quote/saying?
GJ: Pain is temporary; Pride and accomplishment are forever.
RC: Life is a matter of choices, and every choice you make makes you.
Q: If you could have one superpower, what would it be?
RC: The ability to fly.
Q: What do you enjoy most about soccer?
RC: Winning championships with my team.
Q: What is one food you will not try?
RC: Tapioca pudding
Q: What are some of the things you would do if you won the lottery?
GJ: Buy a jaguar. I love cars.
RC: Take a long vacation and travel the world.
