"I think the team's very excited to be playing in a home tournament, and I am as well," Adams said. "This is our home course, so we know how to play it. There's no reason for us not to be successful this week, and we're certainly looking forward to it."
The event marks the conclusion of the Blue Raiders fall season and the last chance to face other teams until February.
"We'd obviously like to go out on a positive note," Adams said. "This is a chance for us to finish strong, and we're going to be taking on six conference teams here. This is a chance to see where everyone else is in the Sun Belt this season."
As they have for much of their career, the trio of Karisa Akin, Olivia Love and Ashley Haggard will feature in the line-up for Middle Tennessee. Freshman standout Allie Knight and Natalie Chrisopulos will round out the card. Stephanie Smith and Haley Cothran will both compete as individuals, with Cothran making her collegiate debut.
Middle Tennessee will begin play at the Blue Raider Invitational with a shotgun start at Old Fort Golf Club at 8:30 a.m. on Monday. Live coverage will be available at Twitter.com/MTWomensGolf.
