Nunez inks with Blue Raiders
Fills void at center
December 30, 2011 · Athletic Communications
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee Head Coach Rick Stockstill announced today the signing of Nick Nunez to a scholarship agreement. Nunez is a center who will fill a void left by the graduation of all-conference linemen Colin Boss.
Nunez, 6-4, 275, was a 2011 All-Coast Conference selection for Hartnell College in California. Nunez helped Hartnell to an 8-3 record this past season and a Coast Conference and Southern Division championship.
“We are really excited about Nick because he fills a need at our center position,” said Stockstill. “He will be able to go through spring practice and our offseason workout program. I am anxious to begin working with him.”
