Men's tennis hosts pair of matches this weekend
Blue Raiders play Friday and Saturday at 3 p.m. CT

MT (2-2) dominated its last two matches, picking up 6-1 and 7-0 victories over Chattanooga and Morehead State, respectively. Ben Davis leads the Blue Raiders from the top spot and has won three of his last four singles matches. Matthew Langley and Ettore Zito also have been hot for MT, splitting time between the No. 2 and 3 positions. Langley has won five of his last six matches, while Zito has won four of five.
The 64th-ranked Wildcats (5-1) are led by Spencer Wolf, ranked 97th nationally. Wolf is 4-2 in dual action playing in the No. 3 spot. Josh Graves has been solid for Northwestern as well, winning five straight matches to open the season before falling against Notre Dame’s Greg Andrews in his last outing. Raleigh Smith is a perfect 6-0 in dual action so far, alternating between the No. 3, 4 and 5 spots.
Brown has opened the 2012 campaign a perfect 6-0 and will face Vanderbilt on Friday before playing the Blue Raiders. The Bears have only dropped three points in the six matches, but all six of the matches have been played on Brown’s home courts.
