Three Blue Raiders in the top 20April 2, 2012 · Athletic Communications
Two rounds were initially scheduled for Monday, but due to inclement weather, the tournament has been shortened to 36 holes with play concluding on Tuesday.
"Well, I hate that it's been cut to 36 holes," head coach Whit Turnbow said. "We have to deal with it and try to make as many birdies as possible over the last nine holes."
Hunter Green led the Blue Raiders with a pretty steady opening round, picking up three birdies and 14 pars on the way to ending with a two-under 70 to sit in a tie for 12th in the 80-player field.
The second round of play will resume on Tuesday. Live scoring is available via Golfstat.com.
