Softball doubleheader postponed due to weather

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- Middle Tennessee’s softball doubleheader against Samford has been postponed due to inclement weather expected in the Birmingham area over the next 36 hours.
The Blue Raiders were scheduled to face the Bulldogs on Thursday in a doubleheader beginning at 4 p.m. CT. The teams are currently in the process of scheduling a make-up date. Once the new date becomes official, it will be announced via the team's social media pages as well as GoBlueRaiders.com.
Middle Tennessee will break from competition this weekend before returning to the diamond with five games next week. The squad will travel to face Murray State on Tuesday and Southeast Missouri on Wednesday before welcoming UL-Lafayette to Murfreesboro for a three-game Sun Belt series next weekend.
