Faculty/Staff Appreciation Day scheduled for Wednesday at Reese Smith Jr. Field

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - The Blue Raider men’s basketball team will join with Middle Tennessee baseball for Faculty/Staff Appreciation Day on Wednesday at Reese Smith Jr. Field. Men’s hoops will be on hand for an autograph session and 2012 Sun Belt Player of the Year LaRon Dendy will throw out the first pitch prior to the Blue Raiders’ baseball game against Vanderbilt, slated to begin at 6 p.m.

Festivities begin at 5 p.m. with a meal provided to faculty and staff upon entering the stadium. The men’s basketball team will sign autographs from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Posters commemorating the historic 2011-12 season will be given away as well.

Discounted tickets are available to all faculty and staff for $4. Faculty and staff members will also have the opportunity to win prizes throughout the game. For tickets, contact the Blue Raider ticket office at 1-888-YES-MTSU or 615-898-2103.
