BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - Middle Tennessee’s Justin Guidry has been named to the Sun Belt All-Tournament Team, as voted on by the league’s coaches and announced following Sunday’s championship. It marks the first all-tournament accolade for Guidry.

An all-conference first-team selection this year, Guidry hit .462, scored four runs and had one RBI in the Blue Raiders’ three tournament games. The senior was clutch in MT’s two tournament victories, producing multi-hit and multi-run performances in each contest. Guidry scored twice and had two hits in the 12-6 win over FIU Friday, then went 3-for-5 with two runs and RBI in the 8-5 victory against Troy.

Guidry, who split time in the outfield and at first base this season, leaves MT as the all-time singles leader with 216 for his career. He finished tied for third in the school record book with 278 hits (Blake McDade) and sixth with a .368 career average.
