Softball releases 2013 spring schedule
Four tournaments, 23 home games highlight campaign

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - The Blue Raiders softball team and head coach Jeff Breeden have released their spring schedule for the 2012-13 school year.
The campaign features tournaments at Georgia, Ole Miss, Auburn and Coastal Carolina, as well as 23 home games.
MT will kick off its season in Athens, Ga., for the Georgia Softball Classic on Feb. 15-17, and Sun Belt Conference play will begin on March 5 against Troy.
Highlights include a home game against Auburn on March 13 at 2:00 p.m. and a home doubleheader against Kentucky on April 17. Times for those games have not been announced.
The top eight teams in the conference will advance to the Sun Belt Conference Tournament, scheduled for May 8-11 in Troy, Ala.
The Blue Raiders return 13 players from last year, but have a youthful lineup with nine freshman and six sophomores.
