MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - The tradition continues as the Middle Tennessee baseball team gears up for the annual Grand Slam Fish Fry presented by Nissan of Murfreesboro, scheduled for Oct. 8 at 6 p.m. at the Livestock Center on the campus of Middle Tennessee State University.
"The fish fry is one of our program's great traditions that Coach Stanford established and Coach Pete continued, so we look forward to carrying it on again this year," head coach Jim McGuire said. "It's become a staple during the fall for our supporters to come out, enjoy the company and the great food, and we appreciate all they do to make it a successful fundraiser for the baseball program."
In addition to the traditional fried catfish, Cajun gumbo and hot dogs will also be available. The Russ & Becky Jeffers Country Band will be on hand to entertain the crowd.
Tickets are $20 and children under six years old are admitted for free. Tickets are available online by clicking here, or purchase in person at the athletic ticket office located at Gate 1A of Floyd Stadium.
