Former Blue Raider joins Harlem Globetrotters

PHOENIX - Former Blue Raider Alex Weekes has been named to the 2013 Harlem Globetrotters' rookie class. Weekes is one of five newcomers that will join the iconic basketball team as it gears for the "You Write the Rules" World Tour.
The Globetrotters will tip off the 2013 tour on Oct. 7 in Brooklyn and then continue the North American leg from December through April. The team will play over 270 games in nearly 240 cities in 45 states and nine Canadian provinces.
Weekes played at MT for the 2003-04 and 2004-05 seasons. For more information about Weekes and the Globetrotters, click here.
