Blue Raiders serve dinner to 60 individuals

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - The Middle Tennessee women's basketball recently stopped by the Journey Home of Murfreesboro to serve dinner and drinks to approximately 60 individuals.

As part of the outreach to the community, the Blue Raiders arrived to set up dinner and serve food and drinks to men, women and children who were in need of a nice home cooked meal.
Beyond serving dinner, the team sat down and talked with many of the individuals during the two hour event.
The Journey Home of Murfreesboro provides food, laundry facilities and a clothes closet for those in need.
Middle Tennessee athletics completes many community service projects in Murfreesboro throughout the year. Each year, Middle Tennessee coaches, student-athletes and staff volunteer countless hours to serve the communities surrounding the university.
