Men's basketball to host tailgate for students in the grove Saturday
Grab a free hot dog, shoot hoops and play cornhole with the Blue Raiders
October 3, 2012 ·MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - The Blue Raider men's basketball team is hosting a tailgate for Middle Tennessee students as part of Saturday's homecoming festivities.
The Blue Raiders will be in the grove beginning around noon prior to the football team's 2:30 p.m. kickoff against ULM. Students can challenge members of the team to a game of cornhole or shoot some hoops. The men's basketball team will also be giving out hot dogs to students and will have posters, magnets and schedule cards on hand for autographs.
Prior to the tailgate, men's basketball will join five additional Blue Raider athletic teams in the Homecoming Parade. Baseball, men's tennis, women's basketball, men's golf and softball will also march in the parade. The parade begins at 10 a.m. on Maney Avenue and runs along Main Street, Middle Tennessee Boulevard and Greenland Drive.

The Blue Raiders will play an exhibition against Auburn-Montgomery on Nov. 5 before the regular season opens against Alabama State on Nov. 9 in Murphy Center.
