Allen named TSWA Defensive Player of Week
Leads team in tackles

Middle Tennessee's Craig Allen was named the Tennessee Sports Writers Association Defensive Player of the Week for his effort against FIU on October 13.
Allen recorded 10 stops in the Blue Raiders win at Florida International, his third consecutive game with double-figure stops.
The Carrollton, Ga., native registered a sack and a tackle-for-loss against FIU, as the Blue Raiders improved to 4-2 overall, their best start since 2001.
The redshirt junior leads the team with 47 tackles and also has two tackles for loss and one sack this season.
