Davis moves on to quarterfinals of USTA/ITA Ohio Valley Regional
Junior reaches quarters for second straight year

MEMPHIS - Middle Tennessee men's tennis junior Ben Davis breezed to a straight-sets win in the round of 16 at the USTA/ITA Ohio Valley Regional on Sunday afternoon in Memphis.
Davis, the no. 9 seed in the tournament, defeated Dimitrije Tasic of Indiana 6-0, 6-2 to advance to the quarterfinals for the second consecutive year. He will face Vanderbilt's Gonzales Austin in the quarterfinals Monday morning at the Racquet Club of Memphis. Davis beat Austin last year in the round of 16 of the ITA Regional.
