NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee's Jordan Parker was named the Tennessee Sports Writers Association offensive player of the week for his effort on November 1.
Parker helped the Blue Raiders to a 34-29 victory at Western Kentucky, posting a career-high 149 yards on 32 carries and one touchdown. The Lawrenceville, Ga., native recorded a 58-yard scoring run in the first quarter and registered 136 yards on 19 carries in the first half, as Middle Tennessee built a 17-7 advantage.
The true freshman has totaled 483 yards and two touchdowns in nine contests this season. The Blue Raiders play again November 17 at South Alabama.
