Blue Raiders receive votes in latest poll
Second straight week MT has votes
November 11, 2012 · @MTAthleticsMiddle Tennessee garnered two votes in the USA Today coaches poll on Sunday. It marked the second straight week the Raiders have received votes.
MURFREESBORO - For the second week in a row, Middle Tennessee has received votes in the USA Today Football Coaches Poll. The Blue Raiders garnered two votes this week to rank 38th nationally.
Middle Tennessee, 6-3; 4-1, also received two votes in the Nov. 5 poll to rank 44th.
The last time Middle Tennessee received votes in the polls prior to this year was the final poll of 2009. MT finished that year with 12 votes in the coaches poll to rank 34th, while also receiving four votes in the Associated Press poll to rank 37th.
After a bye week, the Blue Raiders will step back into action this Saturday against South Alabama. It will be the first-ever meeting between the two schools. Kickoff is set for 2:30 PM from Ladd-Peebles Stadium.
